Our mission is to train well- qualified Metallurgical and Materials Engineers who are entrepreneur, equipped with fundamental and vocational knowledge, conscious on economy, environment and quality, can think freely, has learned advanced technologies and engineering methods, bring projects by teamwork, have ability to implement completed projects and combine knowledge of experience with science, identify regional and country problems and resolve them, continuously advance, contribute to global currencies and have ability to benefit from engineering methods by using necessary tools.
Vision:
Being established in the city of Bilecik, the center of Ceramic Industry and close to the automotive industry, our vision is to become a highly preferred department which follows scientific and technological advances closely, produces novel knowledge by means of scientific and practical research at national and international scale and present the knowledge to society’s benefit and develop projects turning science to economic benefits via University-Industry collaborations.
