- Turkish Language Proficiency and Exemption Exam conducted by TÖMER (Turkish Language Teaching, Application and Research Centre) at Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University is a test assessing the level of Turkish language proficiency of the foreign students.
- The skills are assessed separately in Turkish Language Proficiency and Exemption Exam and the exam is conducted as; “Reading-Understanding”, “Listening-Understanding”, “Speaking” and “Writing”.
- The Turkish level of those who take the Turkish Language Proficiency and the Exemption Exam is determined as “Beginner Level (A1 / A2)”, “Intermediate Level (B1 / B2)” and “Advanced Level (C1 / C2)”.
- The grades received in Turkish Language Proficiency and Exemption Exam, and their equivalents are as follows:

- Students who do not take the Turkish Language Proficiency and Exemption Exam have to start from A1 level of Turkish course.
- The applicants who take Turkish Language Proficiency and Exemption Exam are given a written document stating the level of Turkish Language Proficiency as; [Beginner Level (A1 / A2), Intermediate Level (B1 / B2), and Advanced Level (C1 / C2)].
