Dear Students,
As a Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University student, you’ll have your undergraduate/graduate study in which you’ll have academic, scientific, vocational and technical knowledge for the next years. This education will change your world view, broaden your horizon and help you get different positions in the business world.
Whatever your purpose is, whether to do internship or work in an international company, to continue your education with master’s or doctoral degree, to have an academic career, or to apply an exchange program like Erasmus+ or Mevlana, you will definitely need to be proficient in English.
Today, the communication and technology era needs individuals who are proficient in languages. Having a beginner or intermediate level of English may be enough to have a basic conversation with other people or to follow world affairs. However, the thing we truly need is the world following us and to inform the world about our professional competency and scientific skills. Because of these reasons, we invite you to ‘Optional Preparatory Class’.
Optional Preparatory Class is designed with more practice, more in-class and out of class activities, vocational development seminars, competitions, trips, exhibitions etc. As it is optional, the ones who fail the preparatory class may continue their education program.
When you come to Bilecik and Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University for the first time, you will find yourself in a different environment. This may bring some difficulties like getting used to the city and student life, having a cultural shock, difficulty in making new friends, academic failure etc. Preparatory Class also serves as an orientation year for you. Because of the advantages mentioned above, enrolling in and studying at Preparatory Class for one year should not be considered as loss of time.
Please don’t forget; language acquisition is a journey of a lifetime.
