6. Research & Development

Physical / technical infrastructure and financial resources of the unit; it is sufficient to carry out activities within the scope of research priorities. Criteria for the allocation of internal resources to research activities have been determined by the Faculty Administrative Board. These criteria are changed by the Faculty Administrative Board when needed. In research activities, priorities for in-unit resource allocation are compliance with the unit’s research priorities, basic research, applied research, and experimental development. Priority areas: seed production and breeding, irrigation, modern biotechnology. Priority is given to the evaluation of scientific research projects with university-industry cooperation and there is no budget limitation. Interdisciplinary and inter-institutional research has priority. Priority is given to the evaluation of scientific research projects applicable to public and industry. Existing external support provided from outside the organization is consistent with the objectives of the institution. All software from scientific research projects are licensed. The financial sustainability of our department, with the existing appropriation of our faculty strengthened the physical / technical infrastructure; It is supported by the revenue assets and BAP budget.
