FINAL EXAM
DESCRIPTIONS
- On the 10th of June 2020, a 24-hour final examination will be held through UZEM system (Open and Distance Learning Application and Research Center).
- The final exam will consist of 3 parts.
- Each part will be evaluated over 100 points.
- According to this; the Main Course part will comprise 50%, Writing part will comprise 30% and the Speaking part will comprise 20% of the final examination grade.
- The Main Course and Writing parts should be completed and uploaded to the system on the 10th of June 2020, within 24 hours. The video that will be asked in the speaking part should be created in advance and the Youtube video link should be pasted to the relevant part on UZEM system during the final examination day.
1. Speaking Part (%20)
For the speaking part of the final exam, students should record a video of at least 4 minutes on a topic and a theme of their choice from the topics and themes to be announced in advance; and paste the Youtube video link to the relevant place on UZEM system. Detailed information on this subject will be shared on the website of the School of Foreign Languages on the 3rd of June 2020.
2. Maincourse Part (%50)
Students will have to answer questions covering grammar, vocabulary and reading sections for this part, including units covered on UZEM system.
3. Writing Part (%30)
For the writing part, students will have to create a text on a subject that will be given through the UZEM system.
