About us

The department, founded in 1976 as connecting the Ministry of National Education, General Directorate for Boys Technical Education, was connected to Anadolu University with the Decree Law No. 41 in 1982 after abolished discrimination Academy-University in Turkey in 1981. Department of Food Processing was founded in 1992 as connecting the Anadolu University. Then, its name was changed to Vocational School with the law numbered 5662 and with an additional article 81 in 2007, and joined to the newly established Bilecik Seyh Edebali University. Our department called as department of Food Processing/Food Technology educate full-time and Turkish language. In Food Processing Department; 1 Assitant Professor, 2 Lecturer as academician and 1 technician as administrative personnel are employed. Microbiology, pathogen process and chemistry laboratories are present in our department. Operation areas of department is classified as education activities, research and development studies and public contribution. With the aid of internship activities, students get both experience about industry and have a chance to establish new connections with companies and able to find new job opportunities. In addition, new abilities are gained as noticing responsibilities in work place, relationship between employer and boss, organization, production and work safety systems and understanding the new technologies with 3 + 1 work place application.
