With the resolution of the Council of Higher Education dated 17.06.1997 and numbered 97.19.1429, the opening of the Informatics Departments depending on the rectorate in the Universities and High Technology Institutional Structures has been concluded. In order to teach basic knowledge technologies to all students with the same decision, basic knowledge of technology usage in the first semester of their education is compulsory to be taught at least two of basic computer science courses at least during the remaining period of their education. The purpose of the Informatics Department which is opened in this direction in our university is to coordinate and supervise ENF coded courses in the first and second courses of associate degree and undergraduate programs related to my university, to prepare the curriculum in coordination with the units, to assign the teaching staff and to organize the course content, practice, .
The use of Basic Information Technologies with ENF101 code, which is already carried out by distance education in our university, is being carried out under the coordination of our department head. The appointment of the teaching staff, the organization of the examinations and the preparation of the course contents constitute the fields of activity of our department.
