The studies working on plant stress physiology and polyamine metabolism are carried out in the agronomy laboratory. In addition, tolerance mechanisms against temperature, heavy metal, and salinity stress, hormonal signaling pathways and the relationship with polyamine metabolism are investigated in high plants and other photosynthetic organisms. Also, the studies in the fields of molecular systematics, genotoxicity, molecular genetics and cloning are carried out.
